Southeast Asia

Hello everyone,if youd like to meet up with me here are the directions: take the South Shore to Van Buren St.,go to "the loop" and get on the blue line to O'hare,fly from O'hare to LAX (4 1/2 hours), then LAX to Taipei International (14 1/2 hours and for whatever reason goes north til Alaska then starts to go west), then Taipei to Bangkok (4 hours),take a taxi to Bangamplu area (40 minutes). It was rough getting here but a have had a few moments that combined have made it worth the stress. I came to the internet cafe with the intentions of uploading some photos but I forgot my usb cable. Yesterday I was at a temple (I'm not to sure which i found 3) taking a picture of the roof and doorway when i voice behind me yelled "HI". It was a 4-6 year old girl peeking around a gate waving at me. I took a picture of her with my digital an I think it will be my photo of the trip.
Its 8:30p.m. here now but last night there was a stage on the street I am staying on where a couple bands played aswell as a shop owner who sung karaoke style but was amazing. He was doing some kind of throat massaging to play with his voice. I tried to take a couple photos of him i dont think they turned out. I dont know if ill be able to stick with my budget and stay as long as i planned. Room and food are cheap but its the other things that get you I got my Visa for Cambodia already which was $40 and i bought a Travel Guide book for Thailand which was $20. But this morning i ate some Tom Yam Goong which was hot and spicy soup with big shrimp. That with a bottled water was $2.50. Meals here are easy to find around $2. Last night a had Fried Rice with prawn and 3 beers for less than $4.
I will leave Bangkok tommorrow or Thursday and go to either Ban Phe (then Ko Samet),Ayutthaya or farther north to Chiang Mai. I hope everyone had a good New Year back home.
